In Allentown, the busiest hours are Friday and Saturday evenings and any night with a big game, when quoted delivery times can stretch past an hour; ordering before 5 p.m. or picking up yourself avoids the wait. Delivery radiuses are small, often two to five miles, and a minimum order plus a delivery fee is normal, with a tip of a few dollars for the driver on top. Lunch specials such as two slices and a drink, or a personal pie, are the cheapest way to eat at most shops across Pennsylvania on weekdays. Toppings are priced per item and half-and-half pies are usually free to request. Gluten-free crusts and vegan cheese are increasingly common but often cost a few dollars extra, and cross-contact in a shared oven is standard unless the shop says otherwise.

Let me just start by saying, I travel 20 days a month and always look for local spots and a decent meal at the end of a long travel day. I had a desire for chicken parm and the website pics looked really good. There were a couple of delicious reviews as well, so I was excited to try it. I’m sure others have had a better experience than I did, unfortunately, the best I can say about this place is that the food came out super hot. The not-so-good: *It took 30 minutes at a fast-casual restaurant-a bit long since I was the only one in the place. *The chicken was so overcooked I couldn’t cut or chew it. *The bread was cheap and nasty. *The Caesar salad I ordered came out as a house salad and they tried to convince me it was a Caesar. They didn’t seem to know what a Caesar was. I ate it anyway. I guess I can say the Caesar dressing, on my house salad, wasn’t horrible. *The atmosphere was meh and the table where I sat was dirty with crumbs and something wet that looked like someone else’s salad dressing. Overall I was pretty disappointed. I won’t come back.

Pizza was good, but prices do not match their website. On the their website a large pizza is 11.95 but we paid 37.30 for two. Also the boxes smelled like mold which caused the hot pizza to taste like mold also.

The Alfredo pasta just doesn’t taste as good as it used too I don’t know the reason behind it I’m not a chef but all I know is the Alfredo pasta that I used to eat 5 or 6 years ago that I would die for does not exist there anymore I don’t know what happened but the original Alfredo that I used to eat 6 years ago it didn’t change because of the new takeover it changed even before Tony’s took over it changed a few months back and still is changed I would really appreciate it if the new owners could bring the original magic back to the Alfredo sauce It was the best sauce to ever exist

Decided to try this local spot for the first time thanks to a Facebook special, and I’m glad I did! The atmosphere is great and the staff is incredibly welcomingβ€”you can tell they really value their customers. I ordered a large pepperoni and a large plain, but unfortunately, I ended up with a veggie pizza instead of the plain. I tried calling to let them know (mostly so the right person could get their order!), but I had to hang up after being on hold for 7 minutes. That said, the pepperoni pizza was delicious! I’d definitely recommend checking them out if you’re in the area; just double-check your boxes before you head out.

This was my first time at Slice of Italy on Tilghman Street in Allentown PA. I've driven past this beautiful gem many times but not today. You can either order at the counter or just have a seat and someone will come over to take your order. We started out with a slice of buffalo chicken pizza cut in half for the 2 of us to taste. Oh my sweet goodness. Very delicious. Then we ordered garlic knots. The knots were nice and warm and seasoned deliciously with a side of delicious marinara sauce. For our main meal my husband ordered a small calzone. His had ham and cheese in it with a huge serving of marinara sauce on the side. The calzone was so delicious and huge it really didn't need sauce for flavor. It was still nice to have it there. He ended up having to take half of his meal home. I ordered the Seafood Pescatore served with marinara sauce. My choice of pasta was angel hair pasta. That meal came with homemade bread and a side salad. If you can't eat raw onions ask to not have them on. Otherwise it's a delicious side salad. There was such a huge serving I had to take half of it home. Then for dessert we had a canolli. What a very delicious and generously filled dessert. We now have
